I won’t be remembered for anything, but today I did my bit for the homeless – I took “sleep set” from the local shelter to be laundered at a nearby hospital. It’s not much, but it helps other volunteers offer a pleasant, clean sleep space for their guests. President Carter’s example is an inspiration to a lot of people. That, and his work for peace, justice, and election reform in the Third World will be what people remember.
