Just keep at it.
I've been at it since 9/08. I've only lost 17 pounds. Some months I get nothing, some months two or three. To me the big key is not so much losing so much per month, but rather not "regaining" lost weight. I've found that it helps to weigh every day, although that means for the occasional weird reading. A seven pound gain after the Super Bowl party (one day only), then a low for one day that it took me five months to reach again.
If you can put exercise into your daily routine, that helps, too. Walk to work or walk part of the way to work. Walk where you can, when you can.
Keep up the good work.
